Legend & Status
This page explains the short labels you will commonly see in ALB. The exact columns depend on the active layout, so not every timeline shows every abbreviation all the time.
Arrival state abbreviations
UKN: unknown arrival stateUNS: unsequencedSQ1: sequencedSQ2: lockedFZ1: frozen stage 1FZ2: frozen stage 2DIV: divertingCXL: cancelled
These are the main sequence-progress states ALB uses when deciding whether an aircraft is still part of the active arrival plan.
Hold phase abbreviations
HDE: entering holdHD1: in hold with estimated EAT still movingHD2: in hold with EAT lockedHDX: exiting hold
If the hold phase column is blank, the aircraft is not currently treated as holding traffic.
Common field labels
PLR: planned landing rateExpected LR: demand-limited forecast from canonical future LT PLTsAR: arrival spacing for a via-fix stream, shown as minutes between releasesCp: capacity derived from the current spacingTMA: aircraft already in the terminal areaOBS: observation or warning slot in the selected layout- Orange timing: ALB's configured route or STAR-based track-mile timing model used as part of the
ELT-ALBorETA:ALBestimate before terminal live estimates take over
For the current OBS note set and how to resolve the common ones, see OBS Notes.
Peer and status indicators
Peers(n): number of currently online ALB peers shown for the active airportsEATorPLTbutton: which value the compact combi field is currently showing*in a top button label: that option is enabled-in a top button label: that option is disabled
Expected LR row
In EAT:LT, the legend row directly below PLR can show:
Expected LR: 34 #/h (17/30m, vs PLR -6)
Meaning:
34 #/his the expected hourly landing rate17/30mmeans 17 eligible canonical PLTs within the next 30 minutesvs PLR -6means the forecast is 6 aircraft per hour below PLR
If ALB is not in EAT:LT, the row shows:
Expected LR: -- (EAT:LT only)
Display rules:
- the row is informational and read-only
- a value below PLR is not automatically treated as a warning
- normal valid values use neutral display coloring
- no smoothing is applied
- no trend arrow is applied
- no automatic PLR adjustment is performed

Some screenshots in this site come from older ALB versions. The overall structure is still useful, but exact spacing and some labels may differ slightly from the latest build.
